Beineinu Goes to BJ

Shabbat Beineinu on March 17 will take place at Congregation B'nai Jeshurun.
257 West 88th Street (between Broadway and West End Avenue) 

March 17-19 "LET MY PEOPLE SING" 
An entire weekend of celebration and music. Featuring our very own Daphna Mor.

Friday night will be filled with lots of singing followed by a delicious meal. Everyone is invited to Shabbat Services (at no cost), the dinner following services (same cost as Beineinu dinners), as well as the full weekend of festivities.  Check out all of the details here.

Services start promptly at 6:30. Meet Rabbi LP inside. She'll be holding seats on the right side of the sanctuary.

Deliver Meals to Seniors

Volunteers will be delivering meals to our homebound elderly, on foot, within walking distance of the meal center.

Volunteers should wear weather appropriate clothes and comfortable shoes.

Volunteers will deliver in pairs or small groups.

Volunteers should not bring any large bags or bulky items as we do not have storage and would make deliveries challenging.

Although the weather may not be favorable, the meals must be delivered.

Please join us for a special night of culture, music and food, raising money for a program dear to our hearts Songs for Syrians.  A music education program for Syrian refugee children in Jordan.

Delicious Middle Eastern eats catered by Eat Offbeat - authentic ethnic food conceived and made by refugees resettled in New York  and a special musical performance by Daphna's band, East of the River.

Just Justice (Just for Teens) - Midnight Run

Join a relief mission with the Midnight Run in Mid Town Manhattan - distribute food, clothing, blankets and personal care items to the homeless poor on the streets of New York City. The late-night relief efforts create a forum for trust, sharing, understanding and affection. That human exchange, rather than the exchange of goods, is the essence of the Midnight Run mission.
